Kartick Maharaj sends legal notice to CM over 'monks backing BJP' remark
The body of Central Coalfields Limited employee Sanjay Kumar was found on the track in Godwar village under Tandwa police station on Friday morning. Confirming it as a case of murder, Tandwa police officer Shambhu Kumar Singh said they were waiting for the post-mortem report to know how he was killed.
Sources said Sanjay (40) was on the phone outside his house in Honhe village on Thursday evening when he went missing. Relatives searched for him but got no trace of him.
A body was spotted on the railway track this morning and Tandwa police were informed. Soon Sanjay's relatives came there and identified the body.
Singh said that this case has many angles which need proper investigation. He said the prima facie case is that Sanjay was murdered somewhere else and his body was dumped here. It is hard to say how he was killed as his body was mutilated by passing trains. Police are awaiting the post-mortem report to continue with their investigation.
Singh said Sanjay was also a realtor and was facing a case of murder registered at Katkamdag police station in Hazaribagh. We are working on different angles to crack this case, he added. Sanjay's clothes were found a few meters away from the body.
